To get there: fly to either ~

• Mombasa
  • and travel 60 mile north through Mombasa, then coconuts, a large sisal estate then a more traditional scene of mangoes, cashew nuts, coconuts and houses.   Travel by taxi, bus or hire car:~
  • Taxi which are very reasonably priced compared to England
  • Bus very cheap usually 12-15 seats can be crowded.
  • Hire car can be collected at the airport but the first part of the drive through Mombasa is not easy.

• Nairobi
  • then fly to Malindi with Kenya airways and get a taxi to Watamu.
